Alberta Jobs Task Force Open Mic Registration
On October 3, 2016, the Conservative Alberta Caucus officially launched the Alberta Jobs Taskforce. The Taskforce will collect information and produce a report containing tangible policy solutions and budget requests, all while drawing attention to Alberta’s unemployment problem that is of growing national concern.
As the jobs crisis in Alberta gets worse, families need the Liberal government to present solutions. Skilled workers across the province are struggling and it is our responsibility as the federal representatives to ensure that every possible solution is examined in order to get Albertans back to work so they can continue to provide for their families.
The Conservative Alberta Caucus will be listening to everyday Albertans, employers, small businesses, social assistance organizations, workers and other stakeholders – all of whom are affected by the current jobs crisis and have valuable insight and ideas to share.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to participate in an open mic session to bring your feedback and ideas that can be brought forward to the Federal Government. Please join Len Webber, Member of Parliament for Calgary Confederation and Ron Liepert Member of Parliament for Calgary Signal Hill for the special consultation.
In order to ensure we have enough time allotted for everyone to speak, we are asking that you kindly register to speak at the open mic session below. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We'll do our best to include everyone that wishes to speak, and will confirm with you via email.
